On August 31, the four-day-long 23^rd Guangzhou Fair dropped the curtain. Delegations, exhibitors, customers and visitors from home and abroad had carried out political exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, cultural interactions and product promotions at the fair.

 

Statistics indicates that nine project promotion roadshows were held, and more than 235,000 Chinese and foreign visitors had trade and economic cooperation at the fair. In addition, 24 economic and trade cooperation projects with a total amount of 12.261 billion yuan were signed on site. The fair also witnessed the trade contract amount of 136 million yuan, the intended amount of 86.80 million yuan, and the retailing amount of 16.6363 million yuan. The projects cover numerous industries and fields, such as equipment manufacturing, electronic communications, agricultural products planting and supply/distribution, green food processing, commercial trade and logistics, cultural toursim, real estate and automobile manufacturing. And 18 of the projects, or 75% of the total, had a total investment above 100 million yuan.
