On the afternoon of October 14, Ouyang Weimin, deputy mayor of Guangzhou, chaired a meeting on promoting development of the financial leasing industry of Guangzhou. Guangzhou Branch of the People’s Bank of China, Guangdong Provincial Bureau of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Guangdong Office of China Banking Regulatory Commission, Guangzhou Customs, Guangzhou Financial Bureau, Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Commerce and the Administrative Committee of Nansha Development District and other relevant departments, and representatives of Zhujiang Financial Leasing Co. Ltd., Guangzhou Yuexiu Financial Leasing Co. Ltd., and Legend Financial Leasing Co. Ltd. and other enterprises attended the meeting.

 

A total of 154 financial leasing enterprises registered in Guangzhou (including one financial leasing enterprise, and four domestic-funded pilot financial leasing enterprises). Of that, 86 enterprises have settled in Nansha District with a total registered capital of RMB31 billion. After the pilot free trade zone was approved, Nansha has become a district enjoying the rapidest development of the financial leasing industry of Guangzhou.
