On May 26, Innovative Manufacture Projects Guangzhou-USA Cooperation Meeting, sponsored by Guangzhou Industry and Information Technology Commission and organized by Haiyin Venture Partners and Guangzhou Industrial Park Commercial Chamber, was held in Guangzhou.

 

At the meeting, Vice Mayor Zhou Yawei stressed that Guangzhou is energetically carrying forward the innovation-driven development strategy, and actively ushering in foreign innovative small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to boost foreign cutting-edge R&D, technologies, industries, talents and services to match with Guangzhou’s enterprises efficiently. Guangzhou is accelerating in nurturing innovative enterprises, developing service platforms for linking Chinese and foreign enterprises, striving to build China (Guangzhou) SME and China-Foreign Advanced Manufacturing Cooperation Demonstration Zone, explore repeatable experiences for the transformation and upgrading of small- and medium-sized manufacturers and lead the manufacture upgrading in the Pearl River Delta and even the whole country.

 

At the meeting, State Council Counsellor Tang Min, Economist Zuo Xiaolei, and Haiyin Venture’s Founding Partner Wang Yu delivered theme speeches on transformation and upgrading of manufacture. Nine innovative manufacturers from the US including 1366, LightSail and Terrafugia showcased their knockout products to seek for investors from Guangzhou.
